Dear citizens of India (Income Tax Payers and not Income Tax Payers),

I am Pavan Pratap, an Income Tax Payer for around 15 years now.

We, Income Tax Payers, may be less in numbers but we are the backbone of this country and at the same time we are the people who got minimum support from all governments.

Let me try to make you understand our contribution towards India:

• We pay maximum taxes to government in form of Direct Taxes and Indirect Taxes
• If ITR filing is mandatory to take most of the loans so it is sure that entire Loan Industry is dependent on us
• Around 15 Crores people have used  flights in 2023 and most of them are either Income Tax Payers (Individuals or Businesses) or their dependents / employees so it is sure that entire Aviation industry is dependent on us
• Around 10 Crores people have invested in stock market, most of them  are either Income Tax Payers or their dependents (Individuals and Businesses) so it is sure that the entire Stock Market is dependent on us
• Most of the people who have taken Term Life Insurance or High Value Health Insurance or Company Group Insurance are Income Tax Payers or their dependents (Family / employees) so it is sure that entire Insurance Industry is dependent on us
• Most of the real estate investment is done by Income Tax Payers (Individuals or Businesses) so the entire Real Estate Industry is dependent on us

and the list goes on…

Let me also try to make you understand where we have no contribution towards India:

• Bharat Band Andolan
• Rail Roko Andolan
• Sansad gherao Andolan
• Patthar Maro Andolan
• Riots

Again the list is goes on…

But the important question to ask is – What do we get in return?
